About Dakota
As a Portfolio Manager, I focus on helping clients confidently navigate periods of market uncertainty so they feel secure and positioned for long-term success. I believe thoughtful portfolio design, tax awareness, and disciplined decision-making are key drivers of better outcomes. Guiding clients through changing markets and turning complexity into clear, actionable strategy is what motivates my work.
My work centers on portfolio construction and trading, with core strengths in event-driven, macro, and relative-value strategies where disciplined execution and risk management are critical. I’ve worked across a range of alternative investments, including film and media projects, which broadened my perspective on nontraditional asset classes and capital structures. Earlier in my career, I spent time on a fixed-income trading desk, where I developed a strong understanding of rate-driven decision-making and the role interest rates play in portfolio positioning.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus in Law & Policy from Washington State University and am a member of the Seattle CFA Society, reflecting my commitment to continued learning in this field. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, travel, and time outdoors. I always look forward to experiencing new places and cultures, with my favorite destinations being Kenya, Italy, and French Polynesia.
