John Griffin, CFP®
Lead Advisor
About John
My path into financial services was somewhat unconventional. I originally planned to become a high school math teacher and earned both a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Washington. While I ultimately chose a different career path, my education has translated very well into financial planning, where I guide clients through the complex, ever-changing financial landscape and empower them to make informed decisions.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with more than a decade of experience, I am passionate about the fee-only advisory model to ensure I am not thinking about “selling product” and am able to focus all my attention and energy on optimizing my client’s financial plan. The most fulfilling part of my role is helping clients organize and understand their plan, ultimately providing peace-of-mind around their financial future.
In my free time I enjoy listening to K-pop with my daughter, bashing RC cars, and exploring our beautiful Pacific Northwest wilderness through fishing, hiking, and camping trips.
