About Tonye
I once saw finance solely through the lens of money, but as my career progressed, I came to see it through the lens of life. Money is a powerful tool, but my core objective is helping my clients utilize the tools they’ve worked to obtain to build fulfilling lives. I seek to leverage the decades of expertise my colleagues and I have acquired to help my clients realize the life they envision for themselves and their families. I spent a decade working in the institutional investment consulting field before finding a great fit in wealth management. This trajectory allows me to bring a rare blend of analytical rigor, professionalism, and emotional intelligence to every client engagement. I value my career path, because beyond a sole focus on investment returns, this field allows me to explore bold, creative solutions across many areas to solve problems in people’s everyday lives.
I spent my youth working at my grandfather’s wood lot, chopping and delivering firewood across Seattle so families could stay warm through winter. That experience instilled a deep commitment to exceptional service, and I saw the lasting impact great service can have on a community. Today I continue that commitment by helping clients balance their short and long-term objectives with clarity and confidence.
Born and raised in Seattle, I studied Finance at Northeastern University in Boston, where I began my professional career before moving to work in New York and Amsterdam. I’m happy those great experiences eventually brought me back home to the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, running, basketball, travel, hiking, snowboarding, art, culinary experiences, and spending quality time with my daughter. We share our South Seattle home with a spirited cat named Flasha.
